An AI assistant helps screen-reader users through unfamiliar tasks
In a 12-person study, screen-reader users completed more unfamiliar computer tasks with context-aware guidance than with ordinary help tools. The prototype still made mistakes and currently works only with NVDA on Windows.

In a randomized crossover study of 194 Harvard undergraduates, students learned more in less time with a custom AI tutor than in an active-learning class covering the same material. The result concerns one course, a tightly designed tutor and short-term tests.

An AI assistant helped newer support agents solve more customer problems
In a study of 5,179 customer-support agents, access to real-time AI suggestions was associated with more issues resolved per hour. The largest gains went to newer and lower-performing agents, while the study cannot tell us what happens to jobs or wages over time.
